000 TTAA00 KMAF 291903 SVRMAF TXC135-329-292000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND TX 201 PM CDT TUE MAY 29 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS ...ECTOR COUNTY...MIDLAND COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITIES OF ODESSA AND MIDLAND... AT 158 PM CDT SKYARN SPOTTERS REPORTED ONE INCH HAIL WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN IN WESTERN ECTOR COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
