THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      KNOX

AT 540 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 50 MILES
NORTHWEST OF NORFOLK...OR JUST SOUTHWEST OF VERDIGRE.  THIS
STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  PERSONS IN THE TOWNS OF
VERDIGRE...CENTER...LINDY...NIOBRARA...SANTEE AND LEWIS AND
CLARK LAKE ARE DIRECTLY IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

ACT QUICKLY.  TAKE SHELTER IN THE INNERMOST PORTION OF THE BUILDING
ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  GET TO A BASEMENT IF POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS WITH CUSHIONS...BLANKETS OR
PILLOWS.
