THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      EASTERN HOLT...EASTERN BOYD...

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      WESTERN KNOX...

AT 510 PM CDT NORFOLK RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE SEVERE THUNDER
STORMS THAT HAVE PRODUCED NUMEROUS FUNNEL CLOUDS AND BRIEF TORNADO
TOUCHDOWNS FROM 40 MILES NORTHEAST OF O NEILL TO 20 MILES EAST OF
O NEILL.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH

THE TOWNS OF LYNCH...VERDEL...VERDIGRE AND NIOBRARA ARE IN THE
DIRECT PATH OF THESE STORMS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  AVOID
WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES...TAKE COVER IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.

 A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT...FLASH FLOOD WATCH
 THROUGH THE NIGHT.
