FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

          ...ADAMS...AMITE...FRANKLIN...WILKINSON
 
AT 745 PM...RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE INCREASING RAPIDLY ACROSS
THESE COUNTIES AND IN AREAS JUST TO THE SOUTHWEST. SEVERAL REPORTS
OF 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE NOW BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE AREA INCLUDING
GLOSTER AND CENTREVILLE.  THE INCREASING RAINS WILL LIKELY CAUSE
RAPID RISES IN ALREADY BANKFUL CREEKS AND STREAMS FOR THE NEXT FEW
HOURS. IF YOU LIVE IN FLOOD-PRONE AREAS MOVE QUICKLY TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
 
AT NIGHT BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE SWIFTLYC TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
