   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      EASTERN BUTLER...

AT 929 PM CDT A SVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS IN EASTERN BUTLER COUNTY
12 MILES NORTHWEST OF BEAUMONT OR 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ELDORADO.
GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL FROM THIS STORM...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

 THIS SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTOM MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS

TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 231 IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL
AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS UNTIL 1100 PM TONIGHT.

AT 530PM WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING JUST SOUTH
OF THE KANSAS BORDER IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA AND WERE 25 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF ARKANSAS CITY TO JUST SOUTHEAST OF COFFEYVILLE.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING NORTHEAST INTO EXTREME SOUTHERN
KANSAS BY 545PM.
