SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
          ...COLUMBIANA
 
THE SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED DUE TO
CONTINUED REPORTS OF FLOODING IN THE COUNTY.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.

HEAVY RAINS WERE FALLING ON PARTS OF EASTERN OHIO THIS EVENING.

AT 830 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN OVER NORTHERN JEFFERSON... EASTERN CARROLL AND
COLUMBINA COUNTIES. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.

MANY STREAMS AND CREEKS IN THAT AREA OF OHIO WERE RUNNING AT NEAR
BANKFULL... SO IF THE HEAVY RAIN LASTS MUCH LONGER THERE COULD BE SOME
FLOODING.

IF YOU LIVE NEAR A STREAM IN EASTERN OHIO... BE ESPECIALLY ALERT THIS
EVENING. YOU MAY HAVE TO ACT QUICKLY IF FLOODING OCCURS.

HEAVY RAINS WERE FALLING OVER AREAS OF NORTHEAST OHIO THIS EVENING.

AT 940 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN OVER COLUMBIANA AND MAHONING COUNTIES FROM
YOUNGSTOWN TO EAST LIVERPOOL. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT
30 MPH.

MANY STREAMS AND CREEKS IN NORTHEAST OHIO WERE RUNNING AT NEAR
BANKFULL AND FLOODING COULD RESULT IF THE HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES.
