000 TTAA00 KSGF 080136 SVRSGF MOC225-080215- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO 736 PM CST MON APR 7 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...WEBSTER AT 733 PM CST RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES EAST OF SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES PER HOUR. THE CITIES OF FORDLAND AND MARSHFIELD ARE INCLUDED. REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDESTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA. THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
