000 TTAA00 KSGF 080036 TORSGF MOC097-080100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO 636 PM CST MON APR 7 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...JASPER AT 634 PM CST RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO JUST WEST OF JOPLIN MISSOURI. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 25 MILES PER NOUR. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..YOU SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY AND RELAY YOUR SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...YOU SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENlT SHELTER IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
