000 TTAA00 KMSP 270306 SVRMSP MNC129-127-270400- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 1006 PM CDT SAT JUL 26 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...SOUTHERN RENVILLE AND NORTHERN REDWOOD AT.....10 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED THAT THE STORM JUST NORTH OF REDWOOD FALLS HAS MOVED VERY SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH SINCE 9 PM CDT. THE STORM HAS MAINTAINED ITS INTENSITY AND LARGE HAIL..DAMAGING WINDS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE VICINITY OF REDWOOD FALLS INCLUDING MORTON..DELHI AND NORTH REDWOOD. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED. JHM
