000 TTAA00 KMSP 270013 RRA SVRMSP MNC129-270100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 713 PM CDT SAT JUL 26 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA...NORTHWEST RENVILLE AT 700 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF RENVILLE COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF RENVILLE IN SOUTH WEST MINNESOTA. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. PERSONS IN THE TOWNS OF OLIVIA AND BIRD ISLAND SHOULD BE ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL..DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS AND POSSIBLY A TORNADO. THIS STORM PRODUCED A TORNADO IN CHIPPEWA COUNTY. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
