000 TTAA00 KMSP 270210 SVRMSP MNC129-127-270300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 910 PM CDT SAT JUL 26 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...RENVILLE AND NORTHEAST REDWOOD AT.....9 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED THAT THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF REDWOOD FALLS HAS MAINTAINED ITS INTENSITY. MOVEMENT WAS EAST TO SOUTHEAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR. RADAR HAS ALSO SHOWN A STORM RAPIDLY INTENSIFYING STORM NEAR SACRED HEART IN WESTERN RENVILLE COUNTY. REPORTS WERE RECEIVED OF LARGE TREE LIMBS DOWN IN SACRED HEART DUE TO STRAIGHT LINE WINDS EARLIER THIS EVENING. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITnH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED. JHM
