- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 3, 2007Two very powerful storms with origins in the Tropics brought hazardous weather to the Pacific Northwest. Each storm moved over the coastal Pacific waters in quick succession, and were unusually strong. With the stronger winds, seas built to heights of 44 to 48 feet.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, November 15, 2020A series of storm system traversed the Pacific Northwest in mid November, yielding rough surf combined with a period of high tides. Coastal flooding became a primary concern in these conditions. Coastal flooding was most destructive around Westport on the 15th.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 17 to 27, 2012High astronomical tides coincided with low pressure to cause record high tide levels throughout Puget Sound. Many homes and yards along the shoreline were flooded.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, January 13, 2021A series of storm systems affected Western Washington around the middle of January, with dangerous beach conditions expected to set up by January 12. This combined with King Tides led to the potential for coastal flooding through the 13th.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, February 4, 2006Residents on Camano and Whidbey Islands, as well as those along Bellingham's waterfront and at Gooseberry and Sandy points had damaged homes due to the combination of strong winds and high tides. Large pieces of driftwood and logs damaged people houses and boats.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, October 24 to 25, 2010A strong Pacific frontal system produced a storm surge along the south Washington coast near Washaway Beach.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 10 to 11, 2015High rivers from heavy rain combined with large surf and extremely high tides resulted in coastal flooding for the South Washington Coast.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 27 to 28, 2022Coastal flooding between 8 AM - 11 AM high tide cycle on 12/27. The event was a result of King Tides, coinciding with significantly strong low pressure in the area and strong winds.
- Winter Storm and Coastal Flood in Washington, January 2 to 3, 2022The first of two strong Pacific fronts brought high winds to the coast as well as gusty winds to the Willamette Valley and interior lowlands of southwest Washington.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Washington, January 12 to 14, 2021A series of strong slow moving fronts brought periods of heavy rain along with strong winds. This resulted in high surf, coastal and river flooding.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in Washington, January 29 to 31, 2006A strong, moisture-laden storm brought heavy rains to the area, causing flooding and damage.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, November 13, 2024A combination of low atmospheric pressure and high astronomical tide produced minor to moderate coastal flooding on the Washington coast and in south Puget Sound.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, November 17, 2020A deep low pressure system off the Washington coast brought strong southerly winds, large waves resulting in tidal overflow.
- Coastal Flood and High Surf in Washington, December 13 to 16, 2020A very active storm system in the north Pacific generated large swell directed at the Washington and Oregon coasts that lasted for several days. Additionally a combination of high surf and high astronomical tides contributed to tidal overflow.
- Coastal Flood and High Wind in Washington, November 5 to 6, 2025A strong low pressure system supported by a negatively tilted upper-level trough drove a cold-frontal boundary through the region supporting a period of high winds.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, January 3, 2014Near Birch bay, minor coastal flooding damaged some outdoor furniture.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 10, 2015Minor coastal flooding occurred in Grays Harbor due to a combination of high tides and low surface pressure.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, January 17 to 18, 2018A strong stationary low pressure system off the British Columbia coast brought impressively high seas into the Washington and Oregon Coast. Wave heights up to 37 feet were recorded at buoys off the coast, with top one-tenth wave heights up to 45 feet.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, November 15, 2020Strong south winds, large surf, and high astronomical tides resulted in tidal overflow.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, November 4 to 6, 2021High astronomical tides combined with elevated river levels lead to minor tidal over flow.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 25, 2022Winter perigean spring tide resulted in minor tidal overflow.
- Coastal Flood in Washington, December 14, 2024The combination of high astronomical tides, large surf, and rainfall resulted in flooding of highways and roads in low-lying areas near Willapa Bay.
