- Tornadoes and Flood in Tennessee, April 27 to 28, 2011Favorable atmospheric conditions resulted in a deadly tornado outbreak across east Tennessee on the 27th. The thunderstorms produced more than 50 tornadoes across the east Tennessee area with 32 deaths and more than 200 injured.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, May 1 to 4, 2010A frontal boundary setup across Western and Middle Tennessee late Friday night (April 30), and remained through the weekend. A persistent southerly flow fed moisture into the area and precipitable water values rose to almost 2 inches, based on data from KOHX upper air soundings.
- Flash Flooding and Debris Flow in Tennessee, September 25 to 29, 2024Tropical Storm Helene caps off a several day heavy rainfall event in association with a stalled closed upper low that drew a stream of tropical moisture into the area on the 25th and 26th.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, May 1 to 15, 2010An upper level disturbance slowly approached the Mid-South during the evening of April 30th, 2010 as a cold front became stationary to the west. This pattern remained in place through the evening hours of May 2nd, 2010.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Tennessee, March 27 to 28, 2021An historic flash flooding event affected the central third of Middle Tennessee from the early morning hours on March 27 through the day into the early morning hours on March 28.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Tennessee, April 16, 1998A carport was torn from a house and blown onto a nearby highway.
- Flooding in Tennessee, March 1 to 11, 1997Excessive rainfall during the first few days of March along with rivers that were already high caused prolonged flooding along the Mississippi and Tennessee rivers as well as their tributaries. Along the Mississippi, the river reached levels that had not been seen since 1937.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, April 26 to 27, 2011During the early morning hours on Wednesday, April 27th, twelve tornadoes occurred across Middle Tennessee. Seven of these were EF0 tornadoes and five of these were EF1 tornadoes.
- Tornadoes and Flooding in Tennessee, February 28, 2011A strong storm system moved through the area on February 28th, producing three tornadoes in southeast Tennessee and widespread flooding in east Tennessee. One person died.

- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Tennessee, March 16 to 22, 2002High water, along with mud and some debris, on roads. A 500 pound propane tank was washed out of a yard and into the creek on Gassaway Road. Gassaway Road was also blocked by a mud slide.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Tennessee, March 27 to 28, 2021Thunderstorms with large hail spread northward across East Tennessee during the early morning hours of March 27, reaching southwest Virginia by late morning. These storms were associated with a warm front, which later stalled across northeast Tennessee.
- Flooding in Tennessee, February 15 to 18, 2003Flooding on the Elk River caused many roads to flood due to heavy rains. Two children were killed when a Nissan 300 ZX sedan, which was driven by the aunt, was swept off a bridge going over the Elk River on Veto Rd.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, April 2 to 9, 2025A major and historic multi-day severe weather event unfolded across Middle Tennessee during early April 2025. This event began during the afternoon hours of April 2nd and continued through April 6th.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, April 25 to 30, 2011A stationary front remained draped across Southern Missouri into Western Kentucky from April 24th, 2011 into April 25th, 2011. A very warm and unstable atmosphere was in place across the Mid-South ahead of the front.
- Flash Flood and Debris Flow in Tennessee, February 5 to 7, 2020A cold front extending from the Texas coast to the southern Appalachians experienced little movement as low pressure systems moved northeastward along the boundary. This resulted in heavy rainfall of 5 to 6 inches across most of area.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, July 2 to 3, 2015Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed across Middle Tennessee during the afternoon and evening hours on July 2. Some of these storms became supercells with low level rotation, and produced 5 weak tornadoes along with several other funnel clouds and wind damage.
- Tornadoes and Flood in Tennessee, March 1, 2017The most damaging severe weather outbreak in Middle Tennessee since the December 23, 2015 Tornado Outbreak struck during the morning hours on March 1, 2017.
- Flooding in Tennessee, November 28 to 30, 2001Rainfall of between 5 and 11 inches fell on West Tennessee between November 26 and November 29. This produced widespread flooding across the region. Numerous roads were closed. Numerous homes and businesses flooded with as much as 6' of water in some houses.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Tennessee, September 26, 2018The back door front had mostly washed out, but southwesterly flow aloft on the west side of the Bermuda High kept the area quite humid.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, February 15 to 17, 2025An upper-level trough crossed the Four Corners region and dipped into northern Mexico on February 14, 2025. In response, deep southwesterly flow set up over the Lower Mississippi Valley and advected Gulf moisture poleward.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Tennessee, July 6 to 7, 2016A major severe thunderstorm and flash flood event affected Middle Tennessee from Wednesday, July 6 into Thursday, July 7.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Tennessee, October 6, 2021Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed in the afternoon hours on October 6th and lasted well into the evening hours. Multiple reports of damaging winds, flash flooding, some hail, and even a tornado were received.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in Tennessee, December 25 to 26, 2015Another unseasonably warm and moist air mass was prompted by deep upper level troughing over the Central Plains states, and a slow moving cold front over middle and western Tennessee. Heavy rain falling upon nearly saturated soils resulted in widespread flooding.
