Thunderstorms along the front produced damaging winds. Strong winds ahead of the front blew down a weak tree onto a moving vehicle, and resulted in one fatality.
- Hail and Damaging Wind in Oregon, August 25, 2013Several thunderstorms rolled through the area on Sunday August 25th. Some of which had: heavy rain, blowing dust, strong gusty winds and large hail. The largest hail reported was 1.75 inches and the highest estimated wind speed was about 75 MPH.
- Damaging Wind in Oregon, January 15, 1996A strong Pacific front moved into Western Oregon early in the morning. A line of strong and severe thunderstorms developed along the front producing damaging wind gusts. Winds gusted to 70 mph at Netarts and 61 mph at Sea Lion Caves.

- Hail and Damaging Wind in Oregon, May 19, 2006Downburst snapped 31 power poles, overturned 12 pivot irrigation systems, and threw several 1300 pound hail bales 80 feet from stack. Hail up to golfball size and wind destroyed 3000 acres of crops. Wind gust was measured at PGE Coal plant.

- Tornadoes and Hail in Oregon, May 6, 2009An upper level trough combined with an approaching cold front and daytime heating produced severe thunderstorms. A brief tornado was observed near Adams in Umatilla County also near Wallowa in Wallowa County.
- Damaging Wind in Oregon, May 15, 1994Severe thunderstorms formed in extreme Eastern Oregon near midday. High winds knocked over trees, power poles, power lines, and billboards, and caused areas of blowing dust that contributed to several auto accidents.

- Damaging Winds in Oregon, April 20, 2010A strong, spring season cold front moved through Central Oregon on the afternoon of the 20th creating severe thunderstorms with damaging winds in Harney and Malheur counties.
- Damaging Wind in Oregon, July 29, 1998A powerful storm moved through the Deschutes County Fair injuring at least four people, flipping a large tent, and lifting an inflated laser tag game into a tree. A 40-by-40-foot tent flipped over and struck two people with 2 to 3 inch pipes, one went to the hospital.
