- Tornadoes and Hail in Kansas, May 21, 2011Supercell thunderstorms developed in advance of a cold front and dryline during the late afternoon of Saturday May 21st. Several of the supercell thunderstorms produced tornadoes including at least 2 brief touchdowns in Topeka.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Kansas, March 28 to 29, 2007Major tornado outbreak and severe weather swept across parts of western Kansas. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities despite major destruction.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Kansas, May 17, 2019Severe thunderstorms developed in the panhandle of Oklahoma and up into southwest Kansas during the early evening along a dryline. Storms struggled to develop all afternoon due to warm air aloft but once they did form explosive growth was realized.

Hail up to the size of softballs was reported west of Stockton where windows were broken, roofs and siding damaged and crops pummeled.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Kansas, May 24 to 25, 2015A strong short wave trough lifting out of the Rockies combined with an atmosphere that was recovering from earlier thunderstorms. There likely was mesoscale interactions with old outflow boundaries. Tornadoes formed along a warm front lifting north.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Kansas, May 29, 2004A tornado touched down in rural areas near Jamestown. The tornado destroyed one house and heavily damaged three others along its 4 mile path. Two sheds were flattened, one of which fell onto two pickup trucks destroying both vehicles. Many power lines were downed.

- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Kansas, July 7, 2004Very severe thunderstorm pummeled north-central Kansas all afternoon and evening of July 7th. This was the second major severe thunderstorm event of the week.Two tornadoes were reported with the thunderstorms.
- Tornado and Hail in Kansas, May 31, 2007Severe thunderstorms blasted through north-central Kansas. These storms produced hail, strong winds, and a brief tornado. Hail up to golf ball and baseball in size was driven by winds of 60 to 70 mph. The worst damage was reported around the Smith Center area.
- Tornado and Hail in Kansas, June 29, 2005Severe thunderstorms hit Mitchell County a couple of times on the night of June 29. The first round pounded the Simpson area with 80 mph winds. Large trees were toppled throughout town.
- Tornado and Hail in Kansas, May 29, 2004Severe thunderstorms rolled over parts of north-central Kansas on May 29. Initially the severe thunderstorms were in the Beloit area, and a tornado was reported by an off-duty NWS employee southwest of Beloit. Large hail was reported and caused crop damage in the area.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Kansas, October 31, 2000Large tornado as it approached Wallace-Sherman County Line. A few utility poles were ripped out by tornado before it moved into Sherman County.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Kansas, May 22 to 23, 2008A large upper level trough located over the western U.S. was ejecting pieces of energy out over the Central Plains. Ahead of this trough at the surface, low pressure developed over eastern Colorado, helping to push a warm front north into the forecast area.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Kansas, June 7, 2008A surface cold front moving in from the northwest stalled out over the Central Plains, providing a focus for thunderstorm development across north central Kansas.
- Tornado and Hail in Kansas, August 25, 2006A severe thunderstorm destroyed a large hay shed and damaged another. Several limbs were downed, along with a window blown out of a farmhouse. The damage was fairly isolated. Information courtesy of the Arkansas City Traveler.
- Tornado and Flood in Kansas, May 10, 2014Isolated supercell thunderstorms moved across portions of South Central Kansas on the evening of May 10th, 2014. The thunderstorms developed in an unstable atmosphere ahead of a dry line and surface trough as it moved along the Kansas Turnpike.
- Hail in Kansas, June 10, 2004The Phillips County Sheriff reported a funnel cloud just west of Kirwin Reservior. At almost the same time, three-quarter inch hail covered the ground east of Glade.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flood in Kansas, May 23 to 24, 2007A second day in a row of severe weather produced reports of large hail and isolated brief tornadoes.
