- Frost and Freeze and Cold in Florida, January 9 to 13, 2010A second and very strong arctic cold front moved through south Florida on January 9th. Very cold air of arctic origin in the wake of the front produced freezing temperatures and very low wind chills to all of south Florida.
- Cold in Florida, December 24 to 26, 2022The coldest temperatures in about 10 years descended into the tri-state region during the Dec 24-26 period. Low temperatures dipped well down into the teens with high temperatures remaining in the 30s, and even at or below freezing in southeast Alabama on Dec 24th.

- Cold in Florida, February 5, 1996The coldest temperatures since the "Christmas freeze" of 1989 caused damage to fruit and vegetable crops in south Florida. Especially hard hit were tomatos, bell peppers and melons in Collier and Hendry counties and sugar cane in Palm Beach County.
- Frost and Freeze and Cold in Florida, January 2 to 4, 2008A strong cold front moved through the area Tuesday night with strong high pressure behind the front bringing an arctic airmass over the state on strong northerly flow.
- Frost and Freeze and Cold in Florida, February 5, 2009A arctic cold front swept through South Florida early on February 3. Cold air of arctic origin poured across the region in the wake of the front, causing freezing temperatures and crop damage.
- Frost and Freeze and Cold in Florida, January 4 to 7, 2010A strong arctic cold front moved through south Florida late on January 1. This ushered in a period of much below normal temperatures which lasted through January 7th.
- Cold in Florida, January 7 to 8, 2014An Arctic airmass moved southward into the area, causing temperatures to plunge on the mornings of Jan 7-8. A hard freeze occurred over the entire forecast area on both mornings, and wind chills were in the single digits and teens on the morning on Jan 7th.
- Cold in Florida, January 6, 1999Minimum temperatures in the farming areas of Collier County reached 27 to 32 degrees for about four hours causing widely scattered damage to vegetable crops.
- Cold in Florida, January 24, 2003Early morning low temperatures on January 24th dropped well below freezing across east central Florida. Temperatures ranged form 24 degrees in Leesburg and 25 in Daytona Beach to 29 in Melbourne and 27 in Orlando. To the south, Ft. Pierce and Vero Beach reported lows near 30.
- Frost and Freeze and Cold in Florida, December 14 to 15, 2010Strong cold advection behind a cold front brought temperatures below freezing to all of east central Florida for two consecutive nights. A hard freeze occurred across most areas of the mainland peninsula, with a freeze even occurring across the barrier islands.
- Cold in Florida, October 28 to 29, 2008A cold Canadian high pressure system built into the area behind a cold front. Levy County: The COOP station near Chiefland observed a record low temperature on the morning of October 29th with 28 degrees, beating the previous record of 34 degrees set in 1987 and 1968.

- Frost and Freeze and Cold in Florida, January 30, 2007Cold high pressure settled over the state bringing freezing temperatures to the north and pockets of freezing temperatures to central sections of the state.
- Cold in Florida, February 6, 2009A strong high pressure system built in behind a cold front bringing record setting cold to northern Florida. Temperatures dipped into the 20s across most of north Florida overnight as strong high pressure built into the area.
- Cold in Florida, January 31, 2003The average temperature for the month of January in Pensacola was 47.2 degrees. This makes January 2003 the fourteenth coldest January on record. The coldest was 40.8 degrees in 1940. January of 2003 was the driest January on record in the Pensacola area.
- Cold in Florida, January 6, 2006Arctic air overspread the Nature Coast and caused the coldest air of the season. The temperature six miles southeast of Chiefland dropped to 30 degrees and Bronson dropped to 31 degrees.
- Cold in Florida, January 15, 2006Canadian high pressure settled over Florida bringing unseasonably cold weather to the state. Winter Haven dropped to 32 degrees with wind chills dropping into the mid 20s.
- Cold in Florida, April 7 to 8, 2007A late season cold snap resulted in record cold temperatures across the eastern half of the United States with record cold temperatures for the month of April and record late freezes reported locally.
