What happened

The episode as NWS BGM wrote it up.

Low pressure tracked east of the Ohio Valley before redeveloping off the Northeast coast on Sunday the 25th. Snow spread from south to north Sunday morning, becoming heaviest from mid-morning through the early evening. The snowfall gradually tapered off early Monday morning, though pockets of freezing rain and drizzle lingered across central New York. Light snow showers and flurries continued into Monday afternoon, accompanied by strong, gusty winds that caused localized blowing snow and reduced visibility. By Monday night, lake-effect snow showers developed.
