High winds were the main impact around the Tahoe basin for April 1-2, with peak gusts of 60-95 mph, and Sierra ridge gusts up to 135 mph.

Also, the Central Sierra Snow Lab measured 5.1 inches of snow in 24 hours with a storm total of 13 inches. Finally, Northstar Ski Base recorded 8 inches of new snow with a 2 day total of 17 inches.
