An isolated thunderstorm developed during the late afternoon hours on the 30th just south of I-8 near Casa Grande, AZ and steadily moved eastward towards I-10 near Eloy. The thunderstorm was fueled by MLCAPE values near 500 J/KG. With DCAPE values exceeding 1000 J/KG, strong gusty winds was the main hazard with nearby surface observing sites reporting wind gusts exceeding 40 mph. Winds of this magnitude were enough to produce dense blowing dust along I-10 near Toltec Rd, just northwest of Eloy, AZ.

Visibility down as low 50-100 ft in dense blowing dust from thunderstorm winds along I-10 near Toltec Rd. This resulted in cars pulling off to the side of the road on I-10. No accidents nor injuries were reported.
