A report from Ten Mile covered the storm perfectly: Heavy snow totaled 5.5 inches measured at 3:10 PM when wintry mix began. Last couple hours before 3 PM were the heaviest snowfall rates passing 1 inch per hour. As of 6:05 additional sleet and freezing rain have led the snow to compact to 4 inches with a glaze of ice on top of everything. Temperatures have remained in the 20s during the wintry mix.

A light glaze of freezing rain was reported by a trained spotter during this event, less than .05. As far as snowfall, 3 to 4 inches of snow was observed in Karns, Farragut, Halls, Powell, Bearden, Maloneyville, and Forest Lake. A NWS employee reported a final total of 2.4 inches near Paulette.
