Wyoming Department of Transportation site Strouss Hill, 15 miles north northeast of Centennial on Interstate 80 reported peak wind gust at 11:20 PM MST on 1/17. Numerous other WYDOT sensors reported wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph during this timeframe.

Wyoming Department of Transportation Wildcat Trail located 7 miles northeast of Buford and Buford East located 1 mile east southeast of Buford on Interstate 80 reported these peak wind gusts at 12:56 AM and 12:22 AM MST on 1/18, respectively. Numerous nearby WYDOT sensors in along Interstate 80 in the South Laramie Range reported wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph during this timeframe.
