A strong area of low pressure tracking along the coast brought a brief shot of cold, wind, and snow to the region. The greatest snow amounts were found across the higher terrain east of Lake Ontario and southeast of Lake Erie, with lighter accumulations elsewhere.

A strong area of low pressure tracking along the coast brought a brief shot of cold, wind, and snow to the region. The greatest snow amounts were found across the higher terrain east of Lake Ontario and southeast of Lake Erie, with lighter accumulations elsewhere. Windy conditions also added to the impacts of the winter storm.
Notable snowfall amounts include: 6.4 inches in Cattaraugus, 6.0 inches in Jamestown and 5.0 inches in Croghan.
Notable wind reports include: 47 mph in Clymer, 44 mph in Osceola and 44 mph in Delevan.
