KEY MESSAGES: - A quick moving clipper will bring showers through late tonight/early Wednesday with a windy day Wednesday. - Temperatures warming into the weekend. - Cooler and unsettled weather for next week. WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW: A disturbance will move through the region tonight/Wednesday, with winds at the surface aloft increasing from the Northwest. The increased pressure gradient and winds aloft will create gusty winds through Wednesday, with winds being stronger behind the cold front passage overnight as cold air advection increases. With the unstable airmass, a few showers are also possible with the system. Later in the week, warmer and drier conditions are expected as an upper ridge builds into the region through the weekend.
