A trough moved over the American Samoa islands from December 3rd through the 5th. WSO Pago Pago recorded 1.99 inches of rainfall during this time. The impacts from this trough were mostly minor including small stream flooding.

A landslide occurred in the village of Failolo on the the morning of December 4th. Rocks and dirt moved onto the main road making travel hazardous. There were no injuries.
