An unseasonally strong surface low-pressure system over North Dakota brought high winds to central and north-central South Dakota. Wind gusts of 50 to 65 mph caused minor tree damage. Some of the highest wind gusts include 65 mph 11 miles south of Bullhead, 61 mph 13 miles north-northwest of Sansarc and 58 mph four miles west of Trail City.
