Warm, moist, and unstable air remained in place near and just north of the front over Central Louisiana, with the lingering trough focusing large scale ascent for scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. An isolated severe thunderstorm developed over Northeast Grant Parish, producing large hail near the Georgetown community before weakening during the early evening hours.
