This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty winds will continue across the region ahead of a strong
cold front that will move through today. Wind gusts up to 45 mph
will be common in the valleys. Wind advisories remain in place. As
the front moves through, rain or rain/snow will become all snow
for the mountains where 4 to 8 inches looks possible for all
higher terrain. Winter weather advisories have been issued.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Ridging builds in Thursday as cooler air moves into the region.
Plenty of clear skies, cool days, and cold nights are expected. A
weak low will drop down to the Four Corners late Sunday night but
precipitation chances look slim. Any rain or snow that falls will
be light in nature.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report excessive wind or any observed
wind related damage to the National Weather Service in Grand
Junction.
