Temperatures fell below freezing around 11:00 PM on January 11th and remained below freezing until 4:30 AM on the 12th. Low temperatures fell into the upper 20s and lower 30s, with a low of 29 degrees observed at the Calosa 1 Mesonet site. Brooks County Airport observed a low of 31 degrees while the La Rucia Mesonet observed a low of 32 degrees.
