SNOTEL at Marias Pass reports 10.6 inches of snow for a 48 hour storm total.
A shortwave trough along with an associated Arctic frontal boundary brought periods of snow and cold temperatures to much of the region. Upslope winds along the Rocky Mountain Front enhanced the snowfall, bringing Winter Storm conditions to this area.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.
