There was a social media report of an estimated 16 inches of snow in approximately 27 hours at Forest Lake. The spotter ten miles south of Grand Marais measured 11 inches of snow in 24 hours. Two inch per hour snowfall rates were reported in Rumely during the event.

An estimated 12 to 18 inches of lake effect snow fell over portions of southern Schoolcraft County mainly from Steuben to Germfask in an approximate 24-hour period. The highest observed total was near Steuben where an estimated 18 inches of snow fell.
