The Marquette National Weather Service in Negaunee Township measured eight inches of lake effect snow in 24 hours. Nearly nine inches of snowfall was reported five miles northwest of Ishpeming. There was a report of locally heavy lake effect snow seven miles southwest of Big Bay where an estimated 13 inches of snowfall fell over approximately 24 hours.
