Strong winds produced high waves along the Illinois shore of Lake Michigan. These high waves combined with high lake levels produced lakeshore flooding in portions of Chicago. The Chicago Lakefront Trail was closed from Fullerton Avenue to Ohio Street due to flooding. Montrose Beach was completely inundated.
