.UPDATE...
A cold front moved into the region overnight, and was located
across north central Florida this morning. The radar was showing
returns across north central Florida, but observations were not
reporting any rainfall falling this morning. The front will stall
across north central Florida today, and with high pressure to the
north and northeast, the pressure gradient will increase.
Northeasterly winds have already increased across coastal
southeast Georgia, with gusts around 30 mph, and these stronger
winds will move southward along the coast through the day. A Wind
Advisory is in effect until this evening for the coastal areas,
and wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected. Showers will develop in
the strong northeasterly flow this afternoon and evening, mainly
from St. Augustine southward. Elsewhere, dry, cool, and breezy
conditions will prevail with highs mainly in the 60s.

MVFR cigs have moved into KSSI this morning, but the forecast is
for the ceilings to come up to VFR by the afternoon. Low VFR to
high MVFR cigs will move into the rest of the TAF sites this
afternoon. Breezy to windy northeasterly winds will prevail around
15 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Winds will diminish tonight,
except remain 10-15 knots at KSGJ.

Wednesday night. A few gusts to gale force are possible today and
tonight. A High Surf Advisory is in effect for tonight and
Wednesday. Gauges along the coast were already beginning to come
up, and with the northeasterly flow expected to increase, a
Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect this evening through
Wednesday.

The northbound lane of Avenida Menendez near the Bridge of Lions was flooded with about 1 foot of water due to coastal flooding.
One adult was rescued from a rip current about 1 mile NNE of Flagler Beach. The person was taken to the hospital. No other information was found.
