Scattered snow showers began moving east across Yuma County in the morning. There were several different waves of snow showers from the morning until after midnight. The repeated rounds of snow from these showers between Highways 36 and 34 yielded snowfall amounts of four to almost eight inches in this part of the county. The highest snowfall amount of 7.2 was reported near Vernon. Snowfall amounts declined to a trace over the northern and southern parts of the county.
