Dense fog developed along the coast late on the 11th and pushed inland overnight. Carlsbad, McClellan-Palomar Airport reported 9 hours of dense fog with a visibility of 1/4 mile or less. Other airports up and down the coast also experienced visibility of 1/4 or less during this period, though San Diego International never dropped below 1/4 mile.
