Temperatures across these counties dropped to or below freezing for several hours during the early morning hours of February 5th.

Temperatures fell to or below freezing for 4.5 hours on the morning of February 5th across Starr County. The RAWS site at Falcon Dam reported a low of 29 degrees and the COOP site in Rio Grande City reported a low of 32 degrees.
