.AVIATION...
For the 22/06Z TAFs, Abundant cirrus continues to stream into the
region late this evening ahead of the upper level trough shifting
out over the plains. Increasing southerly flow will allow stratus
to quickly spread northward throughout the morning hours and MVFR
cigs will overtake most terminal sites by daybreak except for MLU
and ELD. Lower clouds will linger througout the day on Tuesday as
low level moisture continues to increase areawide. MVFR/low VFR
cigs will improve slightly with heating during the afternoon hours
but do not expect much if any breaks in cloud cover. As the trough
draws closer late in the period, some showers may creep into the
picture ahead of a developing line of convection which should be
intensifying as it approaches the region late Tuesday evening into
the early morning hours on Wednesday. Southerly winds will become
gusty on Tuesday ahead of the trough and associated cold front as
the pressure gradient continues to tighten ahead of these features.

.PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 936 PM CST Mon Nov 21 2016/

UPDATE...

High clouds quickly overspreading our western zones this evening
and should continue moving quickly eastward overnight...
encompassing our eastern zones as well. Still waiting on the low
level moisture return across our western zones but this should
occur quickly after midnight given the pressure gradient in place.
A much lighter gradient and lack of high cloud cover across our
eastern zones has resulted in a rapid fall in temperatures this
evening. For this reason...had to lower temps a degree or 2 across
portions of South Central Arkansas into Northeast and East Central
Louisiana. Also had to adjust dewpoint temps downward across these
locations as well. Otherwise...forecast is in great shape...
therefore no additional changes were necessary.

Updated forecast has already been sent...13.
