In the mountains of Los Angeles county, winter storm conditions developed due to the combination of 8 to 12 inches of snowfall and northeast wind gusts in excess of 60 MPH. Across the Santa Monica Mountains, strong northeast winds gusts developed with one station reporting gusts in excess of 80 MPH.

Winter storm conditions developed across the mountains of Los Angeles county. At the resort levels, significant snowfall was reported with between 8 and 12 inches of snowfall in the Wrightwood area. Along with the snowfall, strong northeast wind gusts developed with many sensors reporting wind gusts in excess of 60 MPH.
