A weak upper level system brough localized heavy snow in the Pocatello metro area with 5 to 7 inches reported throughout the Pocatello area. The timing of the snow which the majority fell between 4 am and 7 am on the 25th caused a two hour delay in the Pocatello/Chubbuck local school district 25 and several private schools in Pocatello to be closed.

National Weather Service employees reported 6.5 inches in West Chubbuck and 6.0 inches in East Pocatello. 3 inches fell in American Falls.
