Eight inches of snow fell at Neihart 21W.
A Pacific weather system brought moisture to North Central Montana where it interacted with cold air dropping south out of Canada. The resulting snow produced accumulations in excess of 6 inches at many locations.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.
