A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE QUICKLY NORTHEAST ACROSS
IOWA TODAY AND THROUGH EASTERN MINNESOTA TONIGHT. SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP WEST OF THE JAMES VALLEY THIS MORNING AND
SPREAD EAST THIS AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. EAST OF INTERSTATE...ONLY
AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN ARE EXPECTED TODAY...WITH THE CHANGE OVER TO
SNOW NOT EXPECTED UNTIL LATER THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING. THE SNOW
MAY MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME ALONG THE
INTERSTATE 29 CORRIDOR LATE THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON. THE
HEAVIEST
