A winter storm system moving across New Mexico and then into west Texas produced widespread light to moderate snow amounts across southern Colorado. A prolonged period of snow produced 12 inches at the summit of Wolf Creek Pass. Snowfall generally in excess of 6 inches occurred in southern Chaffee County, and across eastern Las Animas County and Baca County.
