Up to two feet of snow fell at the higher elevations. Snowfall amounts include twenty inches at Carson Pass and fourteen inches at Forestdale (in Alpine County), eleven inches at Kirkwood ski resort (in El Dorado County), six inches at CSSL and three inches at Kingvale (in Nevada County), and twelve inches at Boreal ski resort and eight inches at Sugar Bowl ski resort (in Placer County).
