A developing low pressure system tracked east northeast from the mid Mississippi Valley on Sunday morning March 8th, to central New York State by Monday morning March 9th. A period of snow developed across the southwest Adirondacks early Monday morning, and ended by late Monday afternoon.

Snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches fell across northern portions of Hamilton County from this storm.
