Eight inches of snow were reported at Harkness Flat and at Lower Lassen Peak, with fifteen inches measured at Meadow Lake. Winds gusted to 38 mph at Manzanita Lake.

More than a foot of snow was reported in the higher elevations of the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains, with up to 15 inches measured near Donner Pass. Winds gusted to 50 to 60 mph over higher elevations which resulted in poor visibilities. Highway travel on Interstate 80, US 50, and the other trans-Sierra pass roads was impacted.
