Strong winds developed across far northwestern South Dakota during the morning hours as a strong low pressure system moved north of the area. Wind gusts to 65 mph persisted into early afternoon near Buffalo.

LARGE PRECIP BAND AHEAD OF LOW IS FINALLY MOVING EASTWARD...WITH
