The episode as NWS PHI wrote it up.
Some minor tidal flooding occurred during the morning high tide in Monmouth County on the 27th. The high tide at Sandy Hook (Monmouth County) reached 6.84 feet above mean lower low water. Minor tidal flooding starts at 6.70 feet above mean lower low water. The low pressure system which caused the onshore flow moved northeast from the North Carolina coastal waters on the morning of the 26th to the coastal waters off of the Delmarva peninsula on the evening of the 26th. It continued to move northeast and passed just to the southeast of the Nantucket buoy on the morning of the 27th. The longer onshore flow through the high tide cycle helped caused the minor tidal flooding farther north in New Jersey.
