BUSY FIRST PERIOD OF FORECAST. MODELS AGREE THAT UPPER LOW WILL PUSH
INTO NORTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE THIS EVENING. UNCERTAINITY CREEPS IN AS
TO WHERE THE SURFACE LOW WILL DEVELOP. MOST MODELS INDICATE A BROAD
SURFACE LOW OVER WEST TEXAS...BUT A DEVELOPING LOW SOUTHEAST OF THE
TEXAS PANHANDLE BY MIDNIGHT. THIS FEATURE ALONG WITH A DEEPER UPPER
LOW WILL ALLOW GOOD WRAP AROUND SNOWFALL INTO THE NORTHEAST TEXAS
PANHANDLE. THEREFORE...EXPANDED HEAVY SNOW WARNING FROM THE OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLE INTO THIS AREA AS WELL. HAVE MAINTAINED SNOW ADVISORY FOR
REMAINDER OF TEXAS PANHANDLE. LIGHT SNOWS ALREADY OCCURRING...SO
ANOTHER ONE TO THREE INCHES NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. OTHER FIRST
PERIOD PROBLEM IS FREEZING FOG. WILL CONTINUE AN ADVISORY FOR DENSE
FREEZING FOG THROUGH MIDNIGHT WHEN FRONT FINALLY SWEEPS THROUGH AREA.
DID NOT DO A LOT OF TWEEKING TO REMAINDER OF FORECAST. DEPENDING ON
SNOWFALL...MAX TEMPERATURES COULD TAKE A BEATING TOMORROW.
OTHERWISE...FORECAST OF DEVELOPING ZONAL FLOW AND RIDGING BY THE
MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK LOOKS GOOD. APPEARS NEXT FORECAST PROBLEM JUST
BEYOND THE HORIZON OF THE DAY SEVEN FORECAST.

A HEAVY SNOW WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE OKLAHOMA AND NORTHEAST
TEXAS PANHANDLES THROUGH 6 AM CST FRIDAY. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
SHOULD RANGE BETWEEN THREE AND SIX INCHES IN THE WARNING AREA. A
SNOW ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHWESTERN AND SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE THROUGH 6 AM CST FRIDAY. IN THE ADVISORY AREA...TOTAL
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD RANGE BETWEEN ONE AND THREE INCHES. A
DENSE FREEZING FOG ADVISORY IS ALSO IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT.
FREEZING FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO AT OR BELOW ONE QUARTER OF
A MILE ACROSS THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES.

One inch of snow on U.S. Highway 287 near the Canadian River Bridge contributed to icy conditions which led to a one vehicle accident in which a nineteen year old female was killed. The vehicle in which she was driving in rolled over. Three other passengers in the vehicle were injured.
