Thunderstorms and showers produced rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches over parts of west central Oklahoma during the evening of October 5 and morning of October 6 and produced brief minor flooding along the Canadian River. The USGS river gage site near Bridgeport, OK recorded a crest at the flood stage of 14.0 feet at 2:30 am CST on October 6, and the river remained at flood stage from 2:00 am CST to 3:30 am CST on October 6. Only minor lowland flooding occurred along the Canadian River in northeastern Custer, southern Blaine County, northern Caddo County, and western Canadian counties.In addition, the heavy rainfall produced a brief crest above flood stage in northern Caddo County along Cobb Creek at the USGS river gage site near Eakley, OK. Cobb Creek near Eakley, which is a inflow data point for Fort Cobb Reservoir, crested at 12.3 feet, 2.3 feet above flood stage, at 11:00 pm CST on October 5, and remained above flood stage from 7:30 pm CST on October 5 until 2:30 am CST on October 6. Brief lowland flood occurred along Cobb Creek which feeds into the headwaters of Fort Cobb Reservoir just downstream of the river gage site.
