Lightning Strike in Pennsylvania, October 29, 2004
A lightning strike blew a transformer at the West Brook Park Elementary School in Upper Darby Township and caused a power failure on Friday night the 2911th. Back-up generators were activated and school was held on Monday November 1st.

A lightning strike blew a transformer at the West Brook Park Elementary School in Upper Darby Township and caused a power failure on Friday night the 2911th. Back-up generators were activated and school was held on Monday November 1st. Substitute food was brought to the school and areas which did not have lightning were not used. Repairs to the electrical system were completed the evening of the 1st.
